And why, might you ask, am I sitting up at oh-one-hundred hours instead of sleeping in my comfortable warm bed? I think it's the 100 degree temperature and mild chills. And who might be leaving for a 9 day road trip that will encompass something like 3,700 miles round trip? Why, yes, that would be me and the mister.
He's been sick for just over a week and I had this sneaking suspicion that I was gonna get hit with it before we hit the road. Damned if that didn't just happen.
Well, all I can say is the bluebonnets better be in full bloom when we hit the Texas border. Criminy.
UPDATE: Feeling better. Even went to work today. IS there such a thing as a four hour flu? If there isn't I may be the first to experience it. Glad I'm feeling better. Will make travel much more pleasant.
