Flix fix...pardon my absence I've been under

the spell of Netflix streaming. I've stumbled upon a couple of series that have sucked me right in. If you have Netflix Streaming and you haven't seen their original series, House of Cards, believe me it's well worth a look. Here's the good news and here's the bad news: They put all 13 episodes on at once. Good news because you can get the whole story in one brief weekend (or longer if you exercise better self control than I do) and bad because it will eat your whole weekend if you let it AND they have not started filming the second season yet, so there will be a loooong wait to see the follow up. Egads is it good. (Thanks, Mere!)

I also got into a series from AMC called, The Killing, which is set in Seattle. I have an unnatural attraction to anything set in a city in which I have lived. It sure set off a little nostalgia in me for the Emerald City...in spite of the sad story. I have since found out that there are two more seasons and now all I have to do is hunt down a way to watch them. Sigh...here's to another lost weekend.

I am all for watching both of those. Now I want more. If you find the killing let me know.

Oh, I'll definitely let you know. Maybe we could get together and have a Killing marathon!
