World's Easiest Appetizer
If you are ever called upon to bring an appetizer and your kitchen/fridge stock is running low, odds are you will be able to whip this up in a jiffy. I first had this at a friend's house when we lived in Texas. So simple, but tasty, it's an easy and quick choice for preprandial nibbles.
Ingredients:
Cream Cheese (softened is good, if you use block cream cheese soften it with a little milk until it's spreadble)
Flour tortillas
Your favorite salsa
Instructions:
Spread cream cheese on flour tortillas. Spread all the way to the edge.
Roll up tortillas.
Cut into small rounds.
Arrange on a plate and serve with a really good salsa.
If you're feeling more adventurous and you have the supplies on hand, stuff the center with green onion, avocado, mango, or whatever else suits your fancy. So quick and easy to make and I've never had anyone turn up a nose at it.
